The transaction, whose closing is subject to the fulfilment of conditions precedent (including governmental and corporate approvals, among others), is one of the most significant consolidation deals in the Colombian real estate market in recent years. It represents an increase of approximately 29% in PEI’s assets under management (AUM) and approximately 35% in its gross leasable area (GLA), bringing PEI’s total portfolio to over COP 10.3 trillion in assets and more than 1.15 million square meters of leasable space. The acquired portfolio, comprising five Class A corporate and logistics assets, carries an estimated occupancy rate of 93.9%, hosts more than 100 tenants from diverse economic sectors, and has the capacity to generate a net operating income (NOI) in excess of COP 200 billion per year, positioning PEI as one of the largest-scale real estate platforms in Latin America.
