Diego Alcalde joined Pérez-Llorca in 2025. Previously, he worked in the Corporate M&A/Private Equity department of an international law firm in Luxembourg and, prior to that, in the Corporate M&A/Private Equity department of an international law firm in Madrid.
Studies:
- 2021 – LLM in International Business Law, University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
- 2021 – Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession, ESADE.
- 2020 – Joint honours degree in Law and International Relations (E-5), Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).
He speaks English, French and Spanish.
Experience
Diego advises national and international clients, including financial sector entities such as investment funds, (re)insurers and insurance intermediaries, on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, as well as other contractual and regulatory matters. He has worked on transactions with large private equity funds as well as asset managers in Luxembourg and Spain.
More specifically, he specialises in M&A transactions, bancassurance alliances, portfolio transfers, W&I policies and negotiating distribution contracts.
