You will be working in a leading law firm. You define the limits of your own career and we will help you achieve your professional goals. We want you to share our commitment to excellence through the following:
At Pérez-Llorca we are committed to the future of our human talent. That is why we invite professionals with integrity, enthusiasm for their knowledge, a creative vision and a desire to build a successful career and contribute value to society to join our team.
We cultivate an ethical space, respectful of diversity, where individual integrity and team strength drive our passion and dedication to what we do. This is how we foster the growth of our talent and consolidate our contribution as a socially responsible company.
Seat System
During your first 15 months at the firm you will carry out ‘seats’, where you work in three different teams, each for five months. The teams in which you will carry out your seats will be decided together. During the selection process you will be asked for your preferences, although your choices allow for flexibility and can be changed once you start working at the firm. We like the seat system because it allows lawyers to gain a more comprehensive understanding of both the law and the firm, and will provide you with the opportunity to get to know various teams and practice areas. Each seat period is a new challenge and fosters the development of various skills necessary for practising law.
Ongoing Training Plan
More information about TESEO here.
We believe that a true professional should be constantly learning and building on their knowledge and we take this into consideration in the career plans we design for each lawyer. After several years practising law we believe that it is crucial to stay up to date or to study certain areas in ever greater detail. At Pérez-Llorca, we believe in your career and we support this process in a number of different ways:

Study an LL.M
Ensuring our professionals receive international training is one of our main objectives, which is why we strongly encourage our lawyers to study an LL.M. abroad. To support this, we have the “Study an LL.M. (PLL.M.)” programme, through which we manage this training and guide you through the process.
In addition, the firm can help you to find funding resources and has an Advisory Committee made up of LL.M. alumni and the HR team that advises those interested in this experience and provides all the information needed to make the decision to study an LL.M., as well as to navigate the entire admission process.
Studying for an LL.M. is an exciting milestone in a lawyer’s career, as it enables you to acquire a more global vision of the law, network, improve your professional English, qualify in another country, or work as a secondee in international firms, among other benefits.
Delegation and supervision
At Pérez-Llorca you will have the opportunity to take on responsibilities from the start. In addition, an experienced lawyer will supervise your work and will act as your tutor and mentor to help enhance your skills and improve any aspects of your work, in order for you to acquire the technical excellence required by our clients. For tutors, partners and/or lawyers with experience, lawyers represent the future of the firm and this is why time is invested in passing on knowledge and guiding your career.
Career Plan
We evaluate each lawyer’s individual performance and provide them with feedback, either annually or every five months in the case of lawyers who are carrying out seats. This is how we discover each lawyer’s strengths as well as their professional and personal interests, facilitating their development and progress at the firm.
Business Development Training
Business Development is a very important aspect of a lawyer’s work alongside the technical competencies that can be acquired through practice. For this reason, we have a specific Business Development training programme for senior lawyers that gives them the basic tools necessary to successfully conduct presentations and meetings, respond to our clients’ needs, and create new business opportunities.
Sustainability: Pro Bono activity and C4C volunteering scheme
Through the Sustainability department, and especially through Pro Bono initiatives, we work to support the most vulnerable people and communities, guided by a deep sense of ethics and service to others. We believe sustainability is not simply a responsibility, but a way of creating social transformation, and encourage our professionals to get involved in projects that promote justice, equity and the development of opportunities. This work is framed by the values that inspire and give meaning to the legal profession, and which guide our commitment to society.
The Collaborate4Change (C4C) Plan is an additional corporate volunteering initiative that expands this commitment through charitable activities and sporting events aimed at supporting vulnerable groups. Through these initiatives, we seek to strengthen communities and contribute to the creation of a more humane and supportive environment committed to the pursuit of the common good.
We would love to have your support for these projects.
