IMSS: The improper use of purported pension plans to supplement employees’ wages

The IMSS has identified companies that improperly use pension plans or similar arrangements to covertly pay part of their employees' wages. In response, the General Provisions Applicable to Pension Plans were amended, an information exchange agreement was signed between the IMSS and CONSAR, and criminal proceedings have been initiated against employers using these schemes.
