Antonio is a Partner in Pérez-Llorca’s Banking and Finance and Projects, Energy and Infrastructure practices in Mexico.
He has more than two decades of experience in Mexico and New York advising funds, banks, financial institutions, sponsors, developers and Mexican and international companies on complex financing, projects and infrastructure transactions.
His practice focuses on structured finance, private credit and project finance, as well as transactions involving assets, platforms and capital-intensive sectors. He regularly advises on warehouse financings, private debt structures, asset-backed transactions, secured financings, bilateral and syndicated facilities, acquisition financings and other sophisticated debt transactions.
In capital-intensive sectors —including energy, infrastructure, logistics and operating real estate assets— Antonio advises on the financing, development, acquisition and operation of projects, assets and operating platforms in Mexico. His experience includes joint ventures, strategic alliances, asset acquisitions, construction and operating arrangements, and other key agreements required for the structuring, financing and implementation of projects.
His working languages are Spanish, English, French and Italian.
Antonio advises banks, private credit funds, global financial institutions, borrowers, sponsors and developers on domestic and cross-border financing, projects and infrastructure transactions.
Before returning to Mexico, he practiced for six years in New York in the Latin America group of an international law firm, participating in financing, projects and mergers and acquisitions transactions across the region.
