Companies Must Prepare for New Anti-Money Laundering Rules

The article highlights the Firm’s recommendation that companies such as casinos, real estate firms, jewellers and car dealerships begin preparing now for the new obligations.

Key changes include the adoption of a risk-based approach, the identification of beneficial owners, the updating of internal policy manuals, automated monitoring mechanisms, audits and training programmes. The risk assessment methodology must be implemented by 1 March 2027.
