Profile

Antoni joined the firm as Counsel in 2023, and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of public and environmental law.

Between 2010 and 2022 he worked in a well-known Spanish law firm, and between 2022 and 2023 he worked in a Big Four firm as the director for the environmental law area in Spain.

Studies:

• 2017 — Master of Laws (LL.M), King’s College London.
• 2010 — Degree in Law, Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
• 2008 — Degree in Economy, Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

He speaks Spanish, English and Catalan.

Experience

Antoni regularly advises companies and public entities operating in regulated sectors on all kinds of administrative and environmental law matters.

He has extensive experience in public procurement and public-private partnerships, authorisations and licences, public concessions (water, mines, coasts and ports), sanctioning procedures and administrative liability, among others. Antoni advises in a variety of sectors, including public services, industry, infrastructure, telecommunications, tourism, food and tobacco.

In terms of his environmental practice, Antoni advises industrial activities subject to high administrative intervention, in particular in relation to the promotion and modification of industrial facilities and compliance with applicable environmental and sectorial regulations. He also intervenes in the context of disputes relating to the environmental liability of companies (restoration of contaminated land and mining operations, waste management, etc.), industrial safety regulations and environmental taxes.

Antoni also advises companies from different sectors on extended producer responsibility and projects linked to the circular economy, on matters related to waste as well as water.

His practice covers regulatory advice in the context of M&A transactions as well as project finance.

In the litigation field, he participates in contentious-administrative proceedings, civil lawsuits with a regulatory or environmental component, as well as in accounting liability proceedings before the Court of Auditors.
