Elena De Saavedra Gil joined Pérez-Llorca in 2025. She previously worked as an associate in an international law firm specialising in Insurance and Reinsurance.

She speaks Spanish and English.

Experience

Elena specialises in procedural law, focusing her practice on insurance litigation, both in and out of court. She has been involved in advising insurers, reinsurers and policyholders in complex proceedings, including on claims related to major catastrophes, fire, property damage, machinery breakdown, and personal injury.

She has experience in civil liability, covering medical, professional, product and employer’s liability, acting before all jurisdictions: civil, criminal, social and contentious-administrative.

She has been involved in all phases of claim management, from the analysis of coverage to the defence of the insurer’s interests in court.
