Pérez-Llorca/IE Chair: ‘The influence of proxy advisors on good corporate governance’

On 18 April, Pérez-Llorca and IE Law School will hold the first session of their joint Chair on Commercial Law of 2018. This seminar will focus on the consolidation of proxy advisors as key figures in the development of good corporate governance in listed companies.

Subject matter experts will discuss the practical impact of proxy advisors in Spain and analyse the regulatory alternatives to ensure their activity is carried out correctly. Speakers will include Rafael Piqueras Bautista, General Secretary and Secretary of the Board of Enagás; Tomás Garicano, Lecturer at IE Law School and José Ramón de Hoces, Partner at Pérez-Llorca and State Advocate on leave of absence.

The event will take place on Wednesday 18 November at 7.00pm at Pérez-Llorca’s Madrid headquarters, located at the Paseo de la Castellana, 50.
