Profile

Juan José has over 25 years of experience in Corporate Labor Law, including individual and collective labor litigation. Throughout his career, he has advised and represented top-tier domestic and international companies in complex labor matters.

His working languages are Spanish and English.

Experience

Before joining Pérez-Llorca, he developed his professional career advising “AAA” companies in Mexico and abroad. In addition, Juan advises companies from various sectors on a wide range of labour matters in Mexico, including litigation, preventive strategies and the resolution of individual and collective disputes.

Academic and Publishing collaborations

He has been a full professor of Labor Procedural Law at the Faculty of Law of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (Ciudad Universitaria Campus) and has taught at institutions such as Universidad del Nuevo Mundo, Universidad Humanitas, Universidad del Valle de México, and New Element University. Since 2019, he has been a full professor of Labor Procedural Law at Universidad Panamericana (Bosque Real Campus). He has also participated as an invited panelist in international conferences held in Hong Kong (2015), Dublin (2017), Stockholm (2018), Buenos Aires (2019), and Milan (2022). Additionally, he has contributed to the following publications:
