It also defends clients before various arbitration courts such as the Spanish Court of Arbitration, the Court of Commercial and Civil Arbitration, the Madrid Arbitration Court and the International Court of Air and Space Arbitration.

The team advises both public sector bodies and entities and private sector companies. Lawyers which have been recognised by major legal publications, both nationally and internationally, lead a multidisciplinary team which is specialised in a wide range of areas.

We represent our clients before the civil courts in matters such as:

  • Contractual disputes, including those related to service and works contracts, construction, agency and distribution agreements, banking contracts, insurance, sale and purchase of assets and shares, price adjustments and joint ventures.
  • Non-contractual disputes, including damage claims arising as a result of unfair competition and breaches of competition law.
  • Corporate disputes with regard to challenging corporate agreements, liability actions, fulfilment of shareholder agreements and breaches of director obligations, among others.
  • Disputes regarding intellectual property, including disputes relating to copyright, trademarks, patents, utility models and licensing agreements.
  • Enforcement of judicial and non-judicial instruments and documents that involve enforcement.
  • Recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and judicial instruments against private and sovereign entities.

We represent our clients before the administrative courts in matters such as:

  • Disputes related to public procurement in the roads, ports and railway infrastructure sector.
  • State liability claims with public authorities, including claims relating to the liability of the State Legislator.
  • Disputes related to subsidies and state aid.
  • Challenges of ministerial orders, regulations and administrative acts in the energy, pharmacy, air navigation, transport, telecommunications and banking and finance sectors.
  • Handling consumer and user proceedings.
  • Handling sanctioning proceedings in the energy, consumer and user, road transport, air navigation and telecommunications sectors, among others.
  • Handling proceedings before the Constitutional Court.

Pérez-Llorca also has extensive experience in defending the interests of our clients before the courts of the European Union, in the various proceedings before both the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
