Adal Salamanca joined Pérez-Llorca’s Madrid office in 2026 as a new partner in the Tax department to strengthen the tax litigation practice.

Studies:

He speaks Spanish and English.

Experience

Adal has over 20 years of experience in providing tax advice to multinationals, with a special focus on tax litigation and defending taxpayers in tax assessment, collection and penalty proceedings, as well as on the various avenues of appeal at both national and EU level. He also has extensive experience advising non-resident investment and pension funds and sovereign wealth funds, particularly on the recovery of taxes borne in Spain. Adal also specialises in advising third-sector organisations.

Prior to joining the firm, he was the partner responsible for tax proceedings at a Big Four firm.

Academic and publishing collaborations

Adal lectures at various universities, teaching on courses related to tax proceedings and offences against the tax authorities and the Canary Islands tax regime.
