Alberto joined Pérez-Lorca in 2023 after working at the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). He also worked for eight years in a well-known Mexican law firm and in an international law firm in Paris.

Experience

Alberto has experience in international litigation and arbitration. He has advised international clients in pre-litigation and litigation matters, in areas such as construction, contractual and non-contractual liability, shareholder disputes, among others. He also has experience in pre-arbitral and post-arbitral proceedings.

During his time at the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Alberto administered more than one hundred international arbitrations involving all types of jurisdictions. He has also acted as counsel in commercial arbitrations administered by the ICC, the American Arbitration Association’s International Centre for Dispute Resolution and the Chamber of Commerce of Mexico City. In investment arbitration, Alberto has assisted in arbitrations administered by the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
