Jaime Pérez Torroja joined Pérez-Llorca in 2018, after completing his studies for the Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession, having spent his entire career at the firm and having also completed an international internship in Pérez-Llorca’s New York office between 2022 and 2023.

Experience

Jaime specialises in corporate and commercial law, and advises both domestic and international clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, particularly M&A transactions involving businesses and assets, private equity transactions, joint ventures, capital markets (including takeover bids), and company and group restructurings.

Jaime also has extensive experience in corporate governance, corporate and contract law.

In his practice, Jaime advises corporate and industrial clients, private equity funds and family businesses on their transactions and ongoing activity in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, financial, hospitality, technology, retail and services, logistics and distribution, entertainment, security and defence, and food.

Academic and publishing collaborations

Jaime has been collaborating as a lecturer for the “High Specialisation Diploma in the Legal Regime of Family Businesses” course at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid’s Escuela de Práctica Jurídica.
