Luís Salema is an associate in Pérez-Llorca’s Real Estate practice area, having joined the firm in 2026.

His activity focuses on advising national and international clients on the purchase and sale of real estate assets of all kinds, as well as advising clients on tourism, agribusiness and self-storage projects.

Studies:

• 2009 — Degree in Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa

He speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Experience

He has nearly 16 years of professional experience, during which time he has worked in both law firms and in-house. Before joining Pérez-Llorca, he was a coordinating associate in the Real Estate and Tourism practice of a prestigious Portuguese law firm. He also worked in a Magic Circle law firm in Lisbon, in a well-known Iberian law firm, as well as in the in-house legal department of a large Portuguese company in the energy sector.

He advises on asset deals and share deals in the real estate sector, with a particular focus on agribusiness, offices, residential, logistics and self-storage.

He has also worked on tourism projects, a sector in which he advises investors, operators and well-known hospitality brands. In this context, he accompanies clients from the initial stages of the projects, providing advice on structuring taking into account tourism regulations, as well as on drafting and negotiating hotel management contracts, tourism use contracts and contracts for the purchase and sale of accommodation units, among others.
