Lawyer for the Knowledge Management, Legal Tech & AI department

We are looking for a lawyer with two to three years’ experience, with a solid legal background and a keen interest in innovation, digital transformation and technology applied to the legal sector, to join our Knowledge Management, Legal Tech and AI team at our Madrid office.

Requirements

  • Degree in Law. Member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM).
  • Additional training in Legal Tech, legal innovation, knowledge management or artificial intelligence applied to law will be considered an asset.
  • At least two to three years’ professional experience, preferably in a leading law firm or in roles relating to knowledge management, innovation or in-house legal support.
  • A solid legal foundation, with the ability to work across different practice areas and in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • A genuine interest in and demonstrable knowledge of legal tech tools, generative artificial intelligence and automation solutions applied to the legal sector.
  • A high level of English is essential.

 

Role

The successful candidate will provide cross-functional support to the firm’s legal teams in matters relating to:

  • In-house legal advice and technical support for the various practice areas;
  • Monitoring, analysis and dissemination of legislative, regulatory and case law developments;
  • Designing and producing internal legal publications (newsletters, memos, practical guides, updates and technical materials);
  • Creating, maintaining and developing internal knowledge bases and case law repositories;
  • Active involvement in innovation and digital transformation projects, acting as a link between the legal teams and the technology department; and
  • Identifying use cases and promoting the adoption of AI and legal tech tools among the firm’s teams.
