Fátima Eizaguirre joined Pérez-Llorca (Madrid) in 2020. Since June 2025, she has been working from the Firm’s Mexico City offices.

Studies:

• 2019 Master of Laws (LL.M.) (with honours) in Banking, Corporate, and Finance Law, Fordham University School of Law (New York).

She speaks Spanish, English and French.

Experience

Fátima has participated in major corporate transactions within the insurance industry over the past five years, advising domestic and international clients — including insurance companies, other financial institutions, and investors — on transactional, corporate, and regulatory matters. Her experience includes M&A transactions, bancassurance alliances, distribution structures in Europe and Latin America, and the underwriting of W&I insurance policies.

She also has experience in insurance regulatory law, policy interpretation, and the design of procedural strategies in pre-litigious, litigious, and arbitration matters.

Fátima has published studies and papers on the regulation and supervision of insurance and reinsurance undertakings, and contributes to the team’s reviews of regulatory and case law developments of interest to the Ibero-American insurance sector.
