Profile

Miguel joined Pérez-Llorca in July 2025 as a lawyer in the Lisbon office’s Tax Law practice area.

Before joining Pérez-Llorca, he began his professional career in a well-known Portuguese law firm and also worked as a deputy to the Secretaries of State for Fiscal Affairs of the 23^rd, 24^th and 25^th constitutional governments.

He is a visiting assistant professor in the legal-economic sciences group at the Universidade de Lisboa’s Faculty of Law.

Studies:

• 2020 — Master’s degree in Tax Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
• 2018 — Degree in Law, Universidade de Lisboa.

He speaks Spanish and English.

Experience

Miguel has focused his professional activity in the area of tax law, advising national and international companies and business groups. He also has experience in tax policy matters, in particular in drafting tax legislation.
