Belén’s professional experience focuses on civil and commercial litigation before Spanish courts, as well as on commercial arbitration before leading domestic (CAM, CIAM-CIAR) and international (ICC, DIA) arbitration institutions.

She specializes in the resolution of complex, high-value disputes in contractual matters (construction and engineering projects, energy, post-M&A), corporate disputes (shareholder conflicts, challenges to corporate resolutions, directors’ liability), and in the public and private enforcement of competition law.

She also advises on proceedings related to the recognition, enforcement, and/or annulment of foreign judgments and awards, as well as on international asset restructuring processes aimed at the reciprocal protection of investments through investment arbitration.
