Constanza Vergara joined Pérez-Llorca in 1997 as an M&A lawyer, a role she worked in for eight years and before being appointed Partner and later COO of the firm.

Experience

Constanza is currently Partner and COO of Pérez-Llorca, where she leads the firm’s Human Resources, Communications, Business Development and Marketing and CSR-ESG departments, in addition to assuming other strategic responsibilities within the firm.

As a driving force behind academic initiatives, she promoted the creation of the Pérez-Llorca/IE Chair on Commercial Law and the Pérez-Llorca/ICADE Chair on Economics and Competition Law. She also serves as Institutional Director of the European Centre for Digital Regulation, a pioneering initiative developed jointly by the firm and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

She has spoken at several conferences and is a lecturer at various institutions and universities, such as the International Bar Association (IBA), the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), the Universidad de Navarra, the Instituto de Empresa (IE) and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M).
