Eduardo Díaz Escagedo joined Pérez-Llorca in 2025. Prior to this, he worked in the Insurance and Reinsurance department of an international law firm.

Studies:

• 2019 Joint Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession and in Corporate Law, IE Law School
• 2018 Joint Honours degree in Law and Business Administration, IE University

He speaks Spanish, English and French.

Experience

Eduardo advises (re)insurers and insurance intermediaries, both national and international, on regulatory and commercial matters.

In the regulatory field, he has extensive knowledge of insurance and reinsurance regulations, distribution and pension plans and funds, participating in the resolution of consultations and issuing reports on highly complex regulatory issues. He has also participated in the design of complex insurance distribution structures, in the design and negotiation of all types of contracts in the insurance sector, in the preparation and presentation of administrative proceedings before the Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds and in inspection procedures for insurance companies and insurance intermediaries.

In the commercial field, he has experience in corporate transactions of insurance companies and insurance intermediaries, including M&A transactions, portfolio disposals and changes of intermediary position.
