Jaime Castaño, a specialist in indirect taxation, joined Pérez-Llorca in 2024 from the indirect tax department of a Big Four firm, where he had previously worked for three years.

Experience
Jaime works as a lawyer in Pérez-Llorca’s tax practice, specialising in indirect taxation.
Throughout his career, he has worked with major national and international business groups on a wide range of projects; he has experience in preparing reports on VAT taxation, drafting proposals for regulatory amendments, advising on proceedings before the tax authorities and before the economic-administrative and ordinary courts, as well as participating in M&A transactions, both in the field of VAT and in relation to energy and environmental taxation.
