Rodrigo Pérez Gil joined Pérez-Llorca after having worked in the Insurance, Reinsurance and Innovation practice area of an international law firm and completing a secondment at an international cryptoasset services provider.

Experience
Rodrigo is currently part of Pérez-Llorca’s Insurance and Reinsurance practice, where he is involved in advising domestic and international clients on the civil, commercial, criminal, employment and administrative fields.
He is an expert in providing ongoing procedural law advice to domestic and international insurance and reinsurance companies, with an emphasis on liability, credit and surety, and casualty and damages and D&O claims.
He also has extensive experience in providing financial regulatory advice to payment institutions, electronic money institutions, crypto-asset service providers, investment services institutions and collective investment schemes management companies in relation to obtaining authorisations before the relevant regulatory bodies.
As regards regulatory advice to the insurance and reinsurance industry, Rodrigo’s work has included adapting insurance policies to Spanish regulations, designing complex insurance products and drafting distribution and cooperation agreements.
Academic and publishing collaborations
Contributed to “Libro Blanco de Insurtech 2.0”, published by the Spanish Fintech and Insurtech Association (AEFI).
