Rolando joined Pérez-Llorca in 2019. Before joining the firm, he completed doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge.

Experience
Rolando has experience in arbitration. He provides advice on litigious and pre-litigious matters related to the construction industry, contracts, obligations, energy and renewables, among others. In particular, he has been involved with and taken part in international and domestic arbitrations led by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the American Arbitration Association’s International Centre for Dispute Resolution, and the Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration of Madrid. He has also been involved in the enforcement of foreign awards, as well as in matters relating to private international law and international investment protection law. During his career in Venezuela, he worked on investment arbitrations before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
Academic and publishing collaborations
Roland is an assistant professor in the law faculty of the IE Business School where he teaches at the undergraduate level. In addition, he has written articles on investment arbitration and contract law.
