Sofía de Compostela Hernandes joined Pérez-Llorca as a secondee from September 2025 to February 2026 from São Paulo (Brazil), where she has been working since 2018.

Studies:

• 2017 — Fundação Getulio Vargas Direito, São Paulo, Brazil.
• 2012— Degree in Law with a minor in International Relations from CPDOC (Centre for Research and Documentation of Contemporary Brazilian History).

Sofía currently works in Pérez-Llorca’s Employment, Compensation and Benefits practice, advising clients on employment law matters.

Academic and publishing collaborations

• Co-author of the article “Recent discussions on the law applicable to maritime workers” (Discussões recentes sobre a lei aplicável aos trabalhadores marítimos), 2023, written in collaboration with José Daniel Gatti Vergna and Rafael Bispo de Filippis.
• Co-author of the article “Legal analysis of break time and its impact on teachers’ working hours” (Análise jurídica do intervalo de recreio e seu impacto na jornada dos professores), 2024, written in collaboration with Cleber Venditti, Henrique Lago da Silveira and Filipe Vergette Conceição.
