Prior to joining Pérez-Llorca, Cristina Duch worked in an international law firm for almost 20 years, where she advised multinational and domestic companies on the management and protection of their intangible assets. Her expertise covers key sectors such as fashion, luxury, cosmetics and fragrances, personal care, food and drink, technology, consumer goods and the internet, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, biotech and new energy. In addition, she combines her technical expertise in the field of consultancy and contracting with outstanding litigation experience before national and EU courts and before national and European IP institutions.

Cristina Duch, alongside Pablo Hooper, Intellectual Property and Franchising partner in the firm’s Mexico City office, will offer a global, multidisciplinary service to all clients with interests in Europe and Latin America on the protection of their intangible assets, as well as on the negotiation and litigation related to intellectual property rights in both markets.
Cristina Duch’s appointment at the firm enriches Pérez-Llorca’s commitment to offering comprehensive and specialised advice across the full spectrum of intellectual property, franchising and unfair competition matters. With her appointment, the Litigation practice area will also expand to include complex matters relating to trademarks and industrial designs, patents, trade secrets and new technologies in general, with her experience complementing that of Eduardo Castillo, head of the practice area in Europe.
