Afonso has been with Pérez-Llorca since 2025, as part of the Corporate/M&A (Real Estate) practice area, and works on real estate matters and transactions.

Before joining Pérez-Llorca, he worked at one of the most prestigious Portuguese law firms.

Experience

Afonso focuses on real estate matters, and has actively worked on various related transactions. His areas of expertise include:

• Advising on real estate transactions involving the acquisition, sale, rental and sale and lease back of various types of real estate assets (residential, commercial, services and tourism), including carrying out legal due diligence;
• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale contracts (asset deal and share deal), leases and service contracts;
• Urban, tourist and commercial licensing; and
• Horizontal property.
