Juan joined Pérez-Llorca in September 2021. Prior to this, he spent over three years in the Litigation and Arbitration departments of well-known international firms.
Studies:
- 2020 Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED)
- 2020 LL.M. in Law, with a specialisation in International Dispute Resolution, King’s College London
- 2018 Joint Honours degree in Law and Economics, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
He speaks Spanish and English.
Experience
Juan specialises in litigation and arbitration. He has advised domestic and international clients on matters related to banking litigation, liability for healthcare products, defence of competition, commercial arbitration for industrial goods and investment arbitration. He boasts ample experience practising law before courts all over Spain. He has managed a large number of proceedings and has handled drafting claims, pleadings and various kinds of appeals.
Academic and Publishing Collaborations
Juan is also the author of various academic articles on litigation, the environment and natural resources. One of these articles was published in the specialised journal ICC Dispute Resolution Bulletin.
