MPF Awards for Management Excellence

The MPF (Managing Partners’ Forum) Awards for Management Excellence in association with Harvard Business Review and the Financial Times has recognised Pérez-Llorca on numerous occasions. In 2017, the most recent edition of these awards, Pérez-Llorca was shortlisted in the categories of “Best Managed International Firm”, “Best Collaboration with External Specialists” and “Best Coordination in Winning New Work.”

Previous nominations include the 2015 edition which recognised the firm as 2nd place winners in the category of “Best Alignment of Resources” and also shortlisted the firm in “Best Managed National Firm”, “Best Programme for Leadership Development”, “Best Managed Workplace”, “Best Use of Systems and Technology” and “Best Change Management Programme.”

In addition to these recent nominations, Pérez-Llorca won “Best Talent Management and Retention” in 2013 thanks to our efforts in human resources.

Pérez-Llorca also won “Best Learning Programme in 2007 for TESEO, the in-house training programme for junior lawyers. The award recognised TESEO as a technically-comprehensive training programme, which has been improving over the past few years.

These awards recognised the firm’s commitment to a talent management strategy based on two principles: Hire the best junior and senior lawyers and offer them adequate training to help their professional development at Pérez-Llorca, be it through a rotational period for the juniors, during which they gain experience in various areas of law or through secondments and multilateral trainings for the senior lawyers.
